About Mick Burkey

Mick Burkey

I've been making pictures of one sort or another for nearly 40years. Most of that time was spent working in television and film production. Other time is spent in the pursuit of art. And since I can't paint I use a camera and the digital darkroom. I caught the photo bug while working for a chain of Northern California camera stores in the late 1970's. Soon after that I got involved in film and television production and started a production company with two partners. Today, I am mostly retired from TV production and can spend more time...
